Built around songs, not files

Backing tracks often end up in Downloads, tabs in another folder, and the right version somewhere in a browser bookmark. JamCrate turns that collection into songs that are ready to play.

One song, one folder

JamCrate copies the backing track, tab and song data into one managed folder. Your library no longer depends on files scattered across the disk.

Track and tab open together

Select a song and its audio, PDF, text or chord sheet is there with it. Adjust playback speed without changing pitch and keep the music on screen while you play.

Mark and repeat any section

Add In and Out markers around a solo, verse or difficult passage. Play the marked sections in sequence or loop one until it works.

Setlists and favorites

Keep rehearsal material and performance setlists in playing order. Mark favorites and move through a set without searching for the next file.

Import without the filing work

Drop in individual files or a whole folder. JamCrate pairs tracks with matching tabs and asks only when something is unclear. Audio can also be imported from a supported video link.

Your library stays yours

No account and no cloud storage required. Your music remains on your Mac and can be moved by copying the JamCrate library folder.

Back up the complete library

Create a single backup containing your tracks, tabs, markers, setlists and rig files. JamCrate verifies the archive before reporting success.

MIDI preset automationexperimental

JamCrate can associate MIDI presets with songs and marked sections, allowing compatible processors to change tone during playback.

Device support varies during the beta. Line 6 Helix-style MIDI program changes are supported; additional devices are being tested.

Try the beta

JamCrate is currently free while the product is being tested with real music libraries.

I am especially interested in feedback from guitarists who already have folders full of backing tracks, tabs and different versions of the same songs. Tell me what worked, what was confusing, and what got in the way of playing.
